Sheena Ham

Director of Constituent Services

A daughter of Baltimore. Born and raised in West Baltimore to hard working entrepreneurs, Sheena understands the power of self-sufficiency and community. She believes that communities are only as strong as their most vulnerable members and strives to encourage and educate all Baltimoreans to become more self-sufficient and improve the livelihood of each family. The foundation of her advocacy is the belief that equitable access to nutrition, housing, education, healthcare, safety, and wealth is a right and fulfilling these basic needs is the catalyst to saving our city.

For over 15 years, she has advocated for and helped to provide food, housing, and job resources to families throughout Baltimore. Her humanitarianism has led her to participate in community efforts such as SOWEBO Festival, Gwynns Falls Elementary School PTO, Resident Food Equity Advisory Committee (District 7), and Clean Curbs. Always willing to lend support to active initiatives, Sheena has contributed to: providing hundreds of thousands of pounds of food to nutrition insecure communities, cleaning solid waste from over 100 miles of Baltimore City neighborhoods, providing books and school supplies to more than 5k students, and numerous other acts of service throughout her history of advocacy.

Having been a 7th district resident for over 20 years, she has first-hand experience of the effects of decisions made by city leaders, and pledged to work alongside them whenever possible. In the winter of 2019, Sheena joined the staffing team of The Honorable Councilman Leon F. Pinkett III (Baltimore City Council 7th District). It was her honor and privilege to learn under the tutelage of Councilman Pinkett to further advocate for West Baltimore as well as become more involved in local community efforts. She is humbled to be able to continue in-service to the 7th district now working alongside The Honorable Councilman James Torrence, J.D. As a mother, and neighbor, she is committed to improving equity in education, nutrition access, blight eradication, healthcare, and workforce readiness.

Kirsten Davis

Chief of Staff

Kirsten was born and raised in Baltimore county. She is the daughter of two hard working middle class parents, who always stressed the importance of education and leadership. Her father is a former Baltimore City Police Officer, and her mother who dedicated her life and career to healthcare. Kirsten has always been vocal about standing up for the underserved and having equity in resources. Over the years She’s developed a passion for mental health and substance use issues and ensuring that everyone has equitable access to treatment and care.

Kirsten began her career working in the banking and financing industry where she nurtured and developed her leadership, critical thinking, and problem solving skills. She has always been passionate about using her voice to be a vehicle for change and sharing her knowledge and resources. In 2012 Kirsten realized that if students were exposed to financial literacy skills at a young age, they would benefit in the short and long term. She took this idea and developed the Banking at School partnership between PNC Bank and Langston Hughes elementary. This program exposed students to various finance, administrative and marketing careers, while teaching and exposing them to financial literacy.

Kirsten has since then redirected her advocacy efforts into being vocal about mental health issues and how they are plaguing Baltimore city youth. She currently volunteers with the FMK mentoring program and is constantly seeking innovative ways to expand mental health treatment in Baltimore. Through this position Kirsten hopes to bring mental health awareness and treatment to the forefront, and positively improve the lives of Baltimore citizens.
